
Help For Haiti Assembly
Help for Report by Millie & Shannon, Class 10 For all of last week we were bringing in 10p’s or more for Haiti. We had long rulers for each class and the money that was brought in was put on each ruler. This week a group of year 6 girls performed a song for The money that was brought in will be sent away on Wednesday to help the people of The song: Sometimes I wonder, Why people suffer, Why all the pain and sorrow? So much injustice Weeping and sadness, Here in our world today. CHORUS Pain won’t be here forever, Sadness will turn to laughter Mourning will turn to dancing And our tears will be wiped away. Looking around me, I see such anger Why must we hurt each other? So many people Living in sadness, Here in our world today. CHORUS Where there is heartache, Where there is grieving, I want to feel compassion, May I give comfort, Where there is hurting, May I bring love again?
